HR Workers Compensation Specialist

Under general direction, this position ensures timely reviewing and processing of employee worker’s compensation injury reports. Evaluates the injury reports to determine accuracy, completeness and to ensure adequate investigation of the injury. Works closely with third party claims management company to coordinate and manage employee injuries. Ensures all state and local filing and other regulatory requirements are met. Processes leaves of absences related to workers’ compensation applying FMLA and state regulations, as well as company leave procedures.  Serves as back-up to the Leave and Disability Coordinator.
