MEMBERSHIP

All memberships are granted to the individual, not the organization they are associated with, as such, succession to or transfer of membership is not permissible. The purpose of the Lubbock Chapter of SHRM is to promote education and net-working to expand the body of knowledge of human resource professionals. The organization is not intended as a vehicle to promote any business or to provide contacts for the solicitation of business. Local membership begins January 1st and continues until December 31st each year. Memberships must be renewed each calendar year.

Gold - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member of the local chapter only.

Gold Bundle - $325.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For those who are LOCAL chapter members only. The Gold Bundle includes annual membership plus admission to all monthly meetings for the year.

Platinum - $60.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Member of national and local SHRM. - Must provide SHRM National # to receive discounted rate.

Platinum Bundle - $275.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Available to those who are National SHRM Members. The Platinum Bundle includes annual membership plus admission to all monthly meetings for the year.

Student - Free Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Persons enrolled in an educational facility whose course of study has an emphasis in human resource management or provides instruction on the body of knowledge in the field of human resources management. Student Members shall be allowed to serve on committees but shall have no vote and may not hold office in the Chapter.

By completing this application and applying for membership in the Lubbock SHRM Chapter, you are agreeing to abide by the Code of Conduct summarized below.

Maintain the Highest standards of professional and personal conduct
Strive for personal growth in the field of human resource management
Support SHRM's goals and objectives for developing the human resource management profession
Instill in the public and other members a sense of confidence about my conduct and intentions
Uphold all laws and regulations related to my activities
Refrain from using my official positions, either regular or voluntary, to secure special privilege, gain or benefit for myself
Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information
Recognize that the Chapter of SHRM meetings, events, and/or any other Lubbock Chapter of SHRM activities are times for networking and developing, not times for sales contacts or self-promotion
